Tena koe. This website offers information about taro in New Zealand and elsewhere. It is a not-for-profit website supporting:

- home, community, and commercial growers of taro,

- marketing, distribution, research, and

- the general enjoyment of taro as a food and ornamental plant.

Through this website, we hope to reach people who already know about taro, and people who want to learn more. Suggestions and contributions are welcome (see contact details in footnote below) (PJM 10.4.03). English and Maori are the official languages of this website (and are the official languages of New Zealand). Contributions in Maori are welcome.
